The DESSO Traverse draws inspiration from the principles of Modernism, showcasing elegant diagonal lines that emerge from subtle variations in dye colors and the texture of the yarn. This interplay creates a dynamic visual experience, as the pattern shifts depending on one's position in the room and the angle of light.
The design features two sets of diagonals, slanting from left to right and its opposite, which form classic herringbone and ashlar patterns. However, the true innovation lies in the use of irregular patterns that allow for exploration of different directions, rhythms, and zones, imbuing the simple lines with a surprisingly rich character.
