The main aim of control measures in ESD protected areas (EPA) is to reduce generation of electrostatic charges. In areas like operating theatres, electronics assembly and data centres it is essential to have an optimum floor covering. Not only does Forbo Colorex EC drain electrostatic charges from equipment and personnel, but it also reduces the charge generation where it occurs, at the interface between the floor and shoe soles.
