F Ball Stopgap Seal 5 Litre

INTRODUCTION STOPGAP SEAL is a clear, water-dispersed modified polyurethane sealer designed to be applied to STOPGAP 800 WEARCOAT to provide a hygienic and protective surface.

The application of STOPGAP SEAL helps to protect the floor surface and ease maintenance by reducing the adhesion of dirt and other debris. STOPGAP SEAL is also resistant to many of the chemicals commonly found in commercial applications.

COVERAGE STOPGAP SEAL should be applied neat and will cover approximately 10m2 per litre per coat.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE STOPGAP SEAL offers a level of chemical resistance to many commonly found chemicals in commercial applications. In environments where the floor is to be in regular contact with chemicals, or for improved chemical resistance, we would recommend the application of a water-based epoxy coating. Note: In keeping with good housekeeping, any spillages should be cleaned as soon as possible - ideally within 30 minutes in order to reduce the risk of staining.

SLIP RESISTANCE STOPGAP SEAL offers low potential for slip in dry conditions, however when wet, the risk for slip is greatly increased. Spillages should be cleaned up as soon as possible, or, if the surface is likely to be used in a wet environment, a slip resistant finish should be applied using a water-based epoxy coating blinded with aggregate.
