Design Strips & Decorative Borders
Karndean offers a creative way to personalize gluedown LVT with design strips, narrow LVT pieces that can mimic grout lines, create inlay patterns, or form stylish borders around rooms or features like kitchen islands. Available in widths of 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm, design strips come in a wide palette of tones including Vanilla, Honey, Coffee, Russet, Chalk, Concrete, Ebony, Graphite, and more. These strips are non-porous, hygienic, don’t stain or crack, and don’t need sealing, unlike traditional grout. They’re a staple for gluedown flooring ranges and are typically sold in packs (around 25 lengths per box), with a rough guideline of one pack per box of LVT when used as "grout".

Rigid Core 5G Accessories
For Karndean’s Rigid Core (Korlok & Van Gogh) formats, there’s a well-matched set of accessories to ensure seamless installation:

Multi-trim: Serves as an expansion joint cover, ramp/reducer, or a transition into carpet or other floors.
Split edge cap: Ideal for finishing edges near windows or sliding doors, easy to install with a base and snap-on cover.
Stair nosing: For clean and safe step edges.
Scotia: Covers the gap between wall and floor with flexible, moisture-resistant WPC.
Edge caps: Provide neat termination next to doors or high finishes.
All come in 2.3 m lengths and are colour-matched to the flooring 

Adhesives & Floor Care
Karndean recommends their Universal Adhesive, a fibre-reinforced, resin-free formula designed specifically for gluedown ranges. It offers strong but flexible bonding, good working time, and works with underfloor heating systems. To maintain your floor’s appearance, the Karndean Floor Care Kit includes cleaning solution, refresh and remove products, pads, and a guide, ideal for routine care and periodic revitalisation.
